Businesses and organisations
Scoped electronics, IoT, monitoring, sourcing and proof-of-concept support for operational or product-development needs.
Electronics, technical development and energy planning
PrismTone Electronics supports businesses, organisations, technical teams, entrepreneurs and emerging professionals through carefully scoped electronic sourcing, embedded and IoT development, prototyping and off-grid solar consultancy.
This is a division information site. The transactional online store is still in development and does not currently accept online orders or payments.
Who we support
PrismTone Electronics works across commercial, technical and learning contexts. Engagements are matched to the client's requirements, available capacity and an agreed scope.
Scoped electronics, IoT, monitoring, sourcing and proof-of-concept support for operational or product-development needs.
Development hardware, component selection, embedded systems, prototypes and practical support from concept through testable implementation.
Documented products, technical resources and responsible exposure to professional electronics and development processes.
Products and sourcing
The planned store will prioritise clearly described products, reliable internal identifiers and controlled availability rather than an uncurated catalogue.
Semiconductors, passives, sensors, connectors, switching, power, communications and interface products.
Development boards, prototyping materials, measurement tools, programmers, cables and supporting accessories.
Hardware for sensing, telemetry, energy monitoring, control and carefully scoped connected-system development.
Technical development
Technical work is assessed before it starts and governed by an agreed scope, deliverables, assumptions, responsibilities, schedule and acceptance criteria.
Off-grid solar consultancy
PrismTone Electronics can assist with early-stage assessment and system-planning considerations for homes, small organisations, remote equipment and monitored loads.
Off-grid solar consultancy is advisory and scope-specific. Regulated design, electrical installation, certification and compliance work must be completed by appropriately qualified or registered persons where required.
How engagements work
Product and service commitments are made only after the relevant availability, technical feasibility, customer inputs and delivery expectations have been reviewed.
We clarify the intended use, constraints, responsibilities and information required to assess the enquiry.
Products, services, timing, assumptions and exclusions are confirmed before payment or technical work begins.
Accepted work is supported by appropriate documentation, evidence, handover and agreed acceptance criteria.

Product payment will be enabled only after availability has been confirmed. Orders are processed after cleared payment is verified. Confirmed paid product orders will normally be fulfilled within 3–5 business days after cleared payment. “Fulfilled” means handed to the courier or confirmed ready for collection; it does not guarantee customer delivery within that period.

Mandatory rights under applicable South African consumer law will be honoured. Defective, unsafe, incorrectly supplied or materially misdescribed goods will be assessed for the remedy required by law.
Discretionary component returns will generally require the item to be unused, unmodified, unsoldered, unprogrammed where relevant, complete and kept in appropriate anti-static or protective packaging. Specially sourced, cut, configured, programmed, assembled or customised products may have lawful return restrictions.
Electronic products can be damaged by ESD, reverse polarity, excessive voltage or current, moisture, heat, incorrect firmware and unsuitable installation. Mains electricity, lithium batteries, RF transmitters and safety-critical applications require competent design, installation, protection and regulatory review.
Order and after-sales enquiries will use the protected public enquiry route once it is enabled.
